Display Gardens

 
Show visitors will be inspired by the spectacular display gardens created by SK Landscape and Marenakos Rock Center with the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals at the Tacoma Home & Garden Show.

Show visitors can explore the lobby entrance garden display highlighting the atmosphere of the “Pacific Northwest landscape” created by SK Landscape of Tacoma. It transforms the Tacoma Dome lobby into a garden refuge complete with water features, natural stone pathways and liberal use of native plants. Accented by dramatic lighting, the garden spotlights artwork by local high school student finalists vying for scholarships in The Second Annual Art Scholarship Competition.

Marenakos of Issaquah, one of the oldest and largest stone suppliers in the Northwest, creates the perfect retreat for “Northwest Outdoor Living.” Working in conjunction with members of the Washington Association of Landscaping Professionals (WALP), the 6,000 square-foot display showcases outdoor entertainment ideas (including pizza oven) in a welcoming setting of Northwest plantings offering all-season color, a rustic, mountain guide hut built with salvaged wood, and a backdrop of stone boulders.

Puget Sound Plants, Live Edge Woodworks, Country Green and Casey’s Landscaping are participating in the creation of this spectacular display.
