Craig Cogger


Craig Cogger has been a Soil Scientist at WSU Puyallup since 1984. His current research is focused on organic nutrient management (composts, manures, biosolids etc.), organic amendment effects on soil quality and C sequestration in agricultural and urban soils, cover crops, organic farming systems, and food safety. He teaches extension soils classes to Master Gardeners and makes presentations on soils, biosolids, nutrient management, soil amendments, water quality, climate change, and food safety to many professional, volunteer, and student groups. He received a PhD in soils from Cornell University in 1979 and is a life-long gardener.
