For those who think that big game trophy in the garage, attic or over the mantel might be one for the record books, the popular “Head & Horns” competition is an opportunity to get it professionally measured—and perhaps “score” a big prize. Prior entrants from previous years’ competitions (including more than 600 Washington State competitors the last two years) and newcomers are invited back to compete.

In addition to the competition, the spectacular “The Legendary Blacktail of the Pacific Northwest” features five world-record Columbia Blacktail deer on display. The huge deer, taken in Oregon and Washington, offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the best of these uniquely Northwest creatures.

This always popular event and accompanying display is made possible though sponsorship support from Fort Knox Safes, Les Schwab, Ruger Firearms, Kershaw Knives, Danner/Lacrosse Boots and Bushnell Outdoor Products.
