Why Exhibit The real question is why not exhibit?
Dear Exhibitor: Despite a bumpy road, the RV industry motors ahead. Market conditions have been testing, of course, but overall the RV industry has never been larger or more promising. This past show season reflects the cross-currents. Our fall events positively rocked while our spring shows waltzed, but buying was still strong. Sales of entry-level and high-end product were especially encouraging. The forecast for next season? Choppy economic acceleration with healthy sales being made by those who are aggressive. As you might guess, planning for our 2008-09 line-up starts now. Look for fresh features and new promotions from us as usual, including additional emphasis on “green” RVing. Biodiesel RVs and vans, hybrids and electric vehicles are all becoming part of 21st century RVing. They certainly draw the crowds, as our initial foray into this area proved last year. The demographics of our industry are changing, too — it’s not just the blue hairs anymore — and our events pull a whole new mix of people through our doors. Dealers are surprised at the distances these buyers travel to get to our shows, as well.
