Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus is pleased to partner with O’Loughlin Trade Shows and The Homebuilders Association to present a unique and new feature in the NW Oregon and SW Washington area – Serving Up Style at the Fall Home and Garden Show, September 10-13, 2009 at the Portland Expo Center.

Come see the top designers in Portland creation of six fantastic, unusual, and stunning dining environments that will wow you.  Design Teams include:  Modurne; cd202; EcoRemedi; Maison and SRM Architecture; Cielo Home, and RED, Research Enhanced Design. 

On Saturday evening, September 12, after the main show closes, a gala will be held to honor the work of these designers and to benefit Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus.  Approximately 150 people will enjoy the opportunity to drink, nibble and mingle with these designers and their creations.  Tickets are available to the public for $50.  Tickets can be purchased at www.servingupstyle.org.

Six awards will be presented to the top dining rooms at the gala.  A people’s choice award chosen by the attendees of the show will be awarded after the show closes.  Awards include: 

Designer’s Choice Award selected by a jury of designer’s peers based on creativity, innovation, detail, execution and lighting;
Innovation Award – demonstrating innovative use of products/design;
Sustainability Award – demonstrating green design excellence;
Creativity Award – most interesting or inventive concept;
Best Table Top Design – most exciting showcase for a meal;
Molly’s Fund Award – selected by the Board of Directors of Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus
People’s Choice Award – awarded to the top vote getter by the people attending the show.
